private elementary

Our Elementary Department offer a curriculum that's focused on educating the "whole student" and developing critical skills. We offer A Beka and Saxon Math curriculums which educate students to reach their academic potential in our supportive environment. We emphasize proficiency in Reading, Cursive Writing, Computer, History, Language, Math, Science, Art, Physical Education, Field Trips and Music.

The Arts are a  strong feature at our school and we believe this helps to encourage creativity. We also believe that no two students are completely alike, so our teachers support the different learning abilities of each individual in their class. Classes are small, which ensures that every student receives the tools needed to be successful.

Values are also integrated throughout the curriculum which teaches self worth, compassion for those in need, and positive decision making. Our school teaches the appreciation for cultural and ethnic differences as well as similarities in the world.

Our academy is registered with the Florida Department of Education - Division of Private Schools, and licensed by the Florida Department of Children and families.

Report Cards

Ingram's Academy sends home achievement-based report cards at the end of each quarter. This report is standard-based and measures your child's academic achievements and work habits.

We believe students should be present and given a voice at parent/teacher conferences. We value their insight and their abilities to learn to be an active part of their academic lives. Each teacher- family partnership is a critical one, and is more effective when students are included.

Safety and Security

Providing a safe and secure school environment is our TOP PRIORITY! Our school has a set of safety and security procedures that we strictly enforce each day.

Every entrance into Ingram's Academy is equipped with an electronic lock system. Fire drills are held monthly to acquaint your child with evacuation and other procedures. In the event of a natural disaster or emergency situation, students will be evacuated as necessary.
